A painter and an art curator, Kasia Kaldowski has had appx 100 exhibitions, mainly in the United Kingdom where she spent most of her adult life.  She has a degree in English law, however her love for art, resurrected in her by her husband, resulted in unstoppable creativity. She caught-up on her artistic education at the famous Central St. Martin’s in London, where she studied art curating, ceramics and printing techniques.   

She has had over 100 exhibitions to date, and exhibited, among others in the famous The Mall Galleries in London.  

While in the UK she was an active member of a few art organisations, including APA (Association of Polish Artists in Great Britain), where she is famous for curating and mentoring of the ‘Legacy’ exhibition, which was a commemoration of Polish artists of the beginning of 20th century, by the artists from the beginning of the 21st century.  

In her paintings she experiments with different techniques.  From paintings inspired by Turner, quick animal watercolours, to abstract and avant-garde.  From traditional to concept and back, she uses different styles to best reflect the mood of an image or a message that she wants to convey.

Born in 1962 in Poland. In 1987 he graduated with an MA from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow.  He is a painter, a draughtsman, a printmaker and a graphic designer.

He has been living in the UK since 1996. From 2014 he also creates in Poland in his summer studio in Orneta.  Between 2002 and 2013 he had been the Artist in Residence in London’s Regent’s Park; and currently, since 2009 he has been working with the National Trust as their artist for the South East region.     

His artistic depictions of nature were commended by numerous awards, including, in the 2006 – Main Price Winner and editor’s choice of ‘The Artist Magazine’.  Other prizes include: Windsor & Newton, Pro Arte, Caran D’ache and Royal Talens.  In 2006, he was awarded the main prize from Nina Hosali's "Free Painters and Sculptors".

In Poland, for a number of years he has been working on art/music projects, where he paints large friezes that create additional dimensions to classical music.  In 2000 he completed a 22-metre frieze, entitled ‘Four Seasons, Four Stages of Life’ as a visual expression of Vivaldi’s music.  This painting is shown life as part of the classical performances of the Polish Radio Chamber Orchestra ‘Amadeus’.    Apart from the above, he also created an artistic interpretation to Piazzolla’s version of the ‘Four Seasons’, a Chopin’s triptych, as well as a series of large paintings to the Mussorgsky’s ‘Pictures from an Exhibition’.  

He had over 300 exhibitions, including over 100 solo.
